Today, for the first time, I was detained in school. I had 5 more friends with me in the detention class. Reason being, we did not finish our Math homework!
I came down from the headmistress office to go to the toilet. I saw Mom sitting with a few other parents. I could only smile and avoid contacts with her. My guess is, she is gonna be FURIOUS! For your information, Mommy sits with me every single day to finish my homework. She takes snapshots of the list of homework that I have, which is often written on the blackboard. I do not know why but I missed out my Math homework this round. So, Mommy quickly assisted me in finishing the questions while I had to go for the weekly assembly.
Unfortunately, the teacher returned my book with a note stating in Mandarin "Please let the child do his own homework" and my Mommy is required to sign.. Oh boy!
After I finished my homework in the headmistress's office, I was released from Detention Class. Mommy asked me what happened and I took out the book with the notice written in RED. Mommy can't read Mandarin. So, she told me to read it out to her.
She burst into laughter. I didn't expect that from her. Mommy was given a 'Red Card' by my Math teacher for doing my homework... I laughed too. I may not remember this experience as the day goes by. But Mommy surely will.
You see, when we don't finish our homework, the teacher will either cane us or just pile on more with today's homework. Mommy normally quickly finishes what is not done and then when I get home after school, I have to redo in a blank paper. It is not all honeymoon.
Anyway, it's quite funny to see my Mom laugh after my own Detention Class.. I wonder why... Hahaha..

My first blog
Mommy decided that it is time for me to blog. She will help me first... She hopes that this will help me to develop better and for me to keep track of my achievements in life. Growing up in Malaysia is pretty tough, especially northern Malaysia, where there is very little assistance available.
Mommy and Daddy have both been through a lot raising me. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 3.5. In later stage when I was about 5, the diagnosis changed to Autism. Mommy and Daddy were both devastated but Daddy stayed focused on financial support while Mommy worked very hard to keep me in main stream school. They have had a rough journey and even if I can't voice out my opinions, Mommy can sense that I want to see both of them happy together.
I am currently in a local Government main stream school and I'm in Primary 5 now. First 3 years, I did quite well. I won prizes but from year 4 onwards, it was tough. Both for me and Mommy.
Coming from an English background family, Mommy placed me in a Vernacular Chinese school. Mommy wanted me to know Mandarin as well, thinking that it will help me. But now, it doesn't look like it is as useful as she thought! :D
Mommy has decided to change course of direction and hopefully, it is for the best. I am 11 years old this year. I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me. He is by far, my best friend. Mommy says Axl loves me very much and I love Axl very much too.
